Marquez Brothers Entertainment, Inc. (MBE), is one of the nation's top promoters of Latin music and sporting events. MBE has developed strong working relationships with Spanish-language media, Latin music artists, booking agents, international soccer teams, event promoters and the top venues in the country.


Based in San Jose, California, MBE also has offices in Chicago and Las Vegas and is comprised of a formidable blend of seasoned Latin entertainment industry veterans.


Led by President and CEO Gustavo Marquez, MBE has been promoting events since 1990. Originally developed to promote EL MEXICANO® brand ethnic food products, MBE has grown into a full-service promotion and event marketing entity.


MBE produces dozens of shows each year including concerts, rodeos, soccer games and traditional Mexican dances. MBE has promoted shows in the top 20 US Hispanic markets including; Los Angeles, Anaheim, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Laredo, El Paso, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Fresno, Salinas. MBE also promotes events internationally having organized numerous concerts throughout Mexico.


MBE has promoted shows with virtually every top Latin performer including; RBD, Vicente Fernandez, Luis Miguel, Juan Gabriel, Joan Sebastian, Marco Antonio Solis, Ana Gabriel, Mana, Juanes, Paulina Rubio, Rocio Durcal, Ricardo Arjona and many more. MBE has also promoted shows with general market artists such as Luciano Pavarotti.


Soccer success stories for MBE feature the "Copa EL MEXICANO®", a property which has presented two editions of the "Súper-Clásico" between Chivas of Guadalajara and Club América of México. The matches took place in Pac Bell Park in 2003 and 2005 and each attracted 35,000 fans. In July of 2003, MBE promoted "El Clásico Tapatío" between Chivas of Guadalajara and Atlas of Guadalajara at the Oakland Coliseum. In January of 2006 MBE promoted a Sold-Out América vs. Atlas match at San Jose State's Spartan Stadium.
