Intocable

If we search for the true meaning of the word that entitles this new production, we will find without a doubt that it does describe it perfectly, not only for its significance but for what it encloses.

Crossroads – cruce de caminos = a group of talented youngsters with different personalities that intersect at a certain moment of their paths to create Intocable, one of the most transcendental music groups of today.

Crossroads – cruce de caminos = twelve years of hard work, consistency, changes, versatility, honesty, maturity, challenges, surprises and achievements.

Crossroads – cruce de caminos= recording production where the rhythms crossed and fused each other to create sounds that make a statement and has marked the greatest musical influence even for their own producers: Ricky Muñoz and Rene Martinez.

“In this album we want to express our roots; we grew up listening traditional Mexican music, but at the same time Country music,” said the musicians from Zapata, a small southern Texas town, which borders with Mexico.

This is the 11th album in Intocable’s existence. It was recorded at the Keith Harter Music in San Antonio, Texas; Henson Studios, LeBoot and The Pass in Los Angeles, California; and it was mixed at Sonic Ranch Studios, in Tornillo, Texas.

This album features the music collaboration of Lloyd Maines, who has worked with great artist Duch as the Dixie Chicks----, ----, among others. His knowledge and his great experience on Country music are noticeable in the production of the special version of the song “Por ella”. Mr. Maines’ talent as a musician is demonstrated in the performance of several instruments as the “pedal steel”, dobro and acoustic guitar.

Excellent musician Junior Cabral features as a co producer of several songs of this album. Besides being an old friend of Intocable, Mr. Cabral brought a different touch and offered new ideas to the band during the recording.

Once again they have the important support of Chuy Flores, bringing with him all the experience and knowledge in two pop songs.

A great asset for the album is the contribution made by singer/composers Marco Antonio Solis and Reyli. It’s necessary to mention the faithful team of collaborators that has put Intocable in a pedestal of success. Among those are Luis “Louie” Padilla, Aaron Martinez, Miguel Mendoza, Johnny Lee Rosas and Josué Contreras, also two talented Colombians María José Ospino and Valentino.

Cruce de caminos – Crossroads = includes sixteen carefully selected songs in which Intocable sing to love and to love disappointments, in a casual language where it’s been expressed all the magic and the hearts of each of its members. This album gathers diverse rhythms like rancheras, cumbias, pop, rock, ballads, country and a touch of jazz, without abandon their own peculiar style.

With out a doubt, Crossroads –cruce de caminos is a ticket that will allow Intocable to cross all borders and boundaries, and will let them travel by new roads.
